Online Doctor

This service gives you and your immediate family* access to an online doctor. You can request a callback from a doctor, this service enables you to ask any health-related questions to a doctor who is available to you Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday – Sunday 9am – 12pm.

Doctors can help you with many medical conditions including cold and flu symptoms, infections, anxiety, stress, allergies and provide advice on non-urgent medical conditions. Doctors can issue prescriptions if required.

* These services are available to your spouse/partner and dependants (under 18).

Who can use this service?

As a BetterHealth member you get unlimited access to this service at no additional cost.

How does it work?

For any health concerns you have, experienced doctors are available from Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm and on weekends from 9am to 12 noon. Once you've completed a callback, a doctor will call you back usually within 6 hours.

    Request the consultation and provide a brief summary of your medical problem.

  • 2Talk to a doctor

    Once your consultation request is submitted, a doctor will contact you usually within 6 hours, to provide a medical assessment.

  • 3Get answers to your medical questions

    Ask as many questions as you need to and a doctor will provide professional medical advice. If needed, they will provide advice regarding on-going treatment on how to improve your condition.

You can ask our doctors any questions about your health from the comfort of your own home.

This is not an emergency service and below are examples of conditions we cannot treat. If you are feeling severely unwell, we advise you to contact your local emergency services.
What we don't treat: Chest pain, shortness of breath, severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, thoughts of suicide or self-harm, confusion, loss of consciousness, severe infection, severe pain, suspected stroke, seizures, pregnancy complications, high fever in unwell infant. This service isn't intended to replace your doctor or any health professional or to be used for ongoing care.
